Welcome to Volume II of The Alarai Chronicles series
SONGS OF DEEP GREEN
SONGS is a journey. An epic journey on an alien ocean. At depth, Earth's oceans remain largely unexplored. On Aketti, no human has ever wandered the surface of its vast oceans, much less what lies beneath the waves. Blown far south on their journey to Al Harad in search of allies, Jeff and Carl are the first to discover that myths have substance. How many years have men of Earth smiled over dreams of mermaids and cities of the deep? This is Aketti, not Earth.

Gulf of Zomar. No charts, no land in sight, food running low, no wind, the Gilnora's sails slatting as she turns aimlessly in an oily swell with not a breath of air to be had. Taking a chance, trusting his gut instinct, Jeff maneuvers the Gilnora east. Land has to be there. Zomar must be close by. And land is there - the Gulf of Zomar near Cape Marmos. Bordered by sun-blasted rock, and worse.
Al Harad. Land of mystery, ancient enemy of the Salchek. Home to the Quoreem and Wahela tribe, dealers of death and treachery.
